Lagoa: a suburban development, oil on card, 10.7 / 12.5 cm
This is the third of the series, again painted from the rise near the filling station. I'd wanted to get closer but there are trucks driving making it difficult to find a new viewpoint. I shall go next at the weekend when they stop working.
Bizzarely, people cross the landscape as normal, as if it were a normal street, though it reminds me of a scene from the First World War- albeit one where nature is still making a strong defence. The scene suggests a style of performance art.
Think I will drive down to Gramado, RS in a couple of weeks to poke about there.
