Pictures from a recent trip to Lages.
Lages is not one of Santa Catarina`s most charming towns. It feels rough. Perhaps this is partly because it is a garrison town or perhaps it is because of the large Gaucho presence there. I must add that everyone I met there treated me very nicely. But there is, nonetheless, this rough atmosphere there.
