I suspect the article would be better if it avoided the Marxist theorising, which does not add much to the critique of AI.

But a pushback against AI is very necessary: necessary as part of a pushback against sterility. 

This becomes very obvious when travelling, and one encounters similarity in places which used to be quite different from each other,
